Delinquent Accounts 

Fellow Members;

Please review the “Delinquent Assessments” list on this Tanglewood page. If you believe your plat & lot is on the list by mistake, please call the office during regular business hours. Beginning March 1, 2026, TLOA will begin sending this list to a collection agency, and they can start the collection process. That means it will also be sent to the credit bureau and may affect your credit score. If you need assistance, or if you have questions, please call or visit the office during normal business hours.

This notice is to inform you that the account(s) are delinquent in paying the assessments on the property you own in Tanglewood Lake Addition. Payment must be received on or before March 1st, 2026 at which time Tanglewood Lake Owners Association (TLOA) will begin the process to convey your account to a collection agency. You may provide payment to TLOA office at 173 Lou Ann Drive, LaCygne, KS 66040.

Article XV – Assessments Section 6 is a new section and shall read: Any costs and fees incurred in the processing and collecting delinquent amounts, including, without limitation, interest charges, charges for preparation of delinquency notices or referral to collection, postage and copies, fees assessed by the Association’s contracted designated collection agent, and attorney’s fees and costs, shall become an additional charge against the owner and the owner’s lot and shall become a part of the collectible debt and be subject to collection. This amendment was adopted at the Annual meeting on August 18, 2018.

TLOA does have a Delinquent Payment Agreement option that allows an owner to apply to the Board of Directors for a method to make payment arrangements to pay the delinquent amount.

An owner may be eligible to participate in TLOA Deed Back Program option at a cost of $500.00 for a Warranty Deed on the property with a delinquent account by submitting a request before the TLOA Board of Directors for consideration.
